A Mexican teenager 14 years old died on Monday in Ciudad Juarez allegedly being shot from El Paso, Texas Border Patrol agents, reported Mexican officials said Tuesday.
"We demand a thorough investigation by U.S. authorities on this regrettable incident", claimed the state government in a statement.

The victim and two others "were playing" in the "Black Bridge in Ciudad Juarez, near the vicinity of the Rio Grande, and at one point crossed the U.S. border.
"Officers from the Border Patrol cyclists surprised at that time the youth of the U.S. side and then they ran toward the Mexican side," said Assistant Attorney General in Ciudad Juarez, based on the statements of the other two survivors attack and the first municipal police arrived at the scene.
"Two U.S. agents fired their weapons closer to the edge of the Rio Grande," he added.

The city police said in its statement that "the U.S. officials yelled to stop shooting and even challenged him to shoot himself, showing that it was not carrying any weapons at that time," said the Deputy.
The teenager's death in Ciudad Juarez comes a week after the death of another undocumented Mexican allegedly beaten by Border Patrol agents in San Diego (Southwest U.S.), a few meters from Tijuana, northwestern Mexico.

The Mexican 42-year-old died on 1 June of a heart attack, brain dead after the beating.
